A found poem that I was given while hanging out with some Vancouver Canucks fans a few playoffs ago… in celebration of the first regular season face-off of the 2013\/2014 season.<\/p>\n

Look at that.
\nDid you see that?
\nHow could they miss?<\/p>\n

Did you see that?
\nJust dump it in.
\nNo!<\/p>\n

You can’t do that,
\nYou know?
\nJust sit back like that
\nOn your heels.<\/p>\n

C’mon. Let’s put one in guys.
\nI can’t watch.<\/p>\n

C’mon guys. Get it out.
\nI can’t watch.<\/p>\n

See!
\nWe haven’t won one face-off yet.<\/p>\n

OK dump it in.
\nCarry it now!
\nOffside!<\/p>\n

Oh no!
\nHow did that not go in?<\/p>\n

Oh man!
\nWhat happened there?
\nThat should be a penalty shot.<\/p>\n

Too many men on the ice,
\nAgain!<\/p>\n

I can’t watch.
\nSettle down boys!<\/p>\n

Whoa!
\nThat would’ve been close.
\nMaybe one of these times.
\nMaybe an odd-man rush?<\/p>\n

Noooo…
\nDon’t let him walk in.<\/p>\n

Oh my goodness!
\nHow did that not go in?
\nLook at that open space!
\nThat goalie’s good.<\/p>\n

Offside,
\nYou turkeys.<\/p>\n

I told you.
\nThey have one of the best
\nGoalies in the league.<\/p>\n

Looks like…
\nWe’re going into second overtime?<\/p>\n

Maybe a goal on the face-off?
\nNo such luck.
\nIs this game gonna go to midnight?<\/p>\n

Oh I hate that.
\nJust dumping the puck.
\nC’mon.<\/p>\n

Oh!
\nThat hurts.<\/p>\n

Noooooo!
\nGame over.<\/p>\n

We can’t go to the end
\nWith one goal.<\/p>\n

It’s too thin.<\/p>\n
